Frequently Asked Questions
Why use the CURV™ putter?
To improve your game and reduce your strokes on the putting surface.
What is the reason for 90% of all missed putts?
Face angle error is the primary cause of missed putts. By twisting less than a few degrees with any flat-faced putter the ball will be deflected away from the hole. Our innovative face technology is designed to eliminate the deflection factor. Just maintain the same stroke line and if you do happen to twist a bit, don't worry! The CURV™ putter is designed to eliminate this concern.
This CURV™ putter is not flat, why should I try it?
That answer is simple — you want a lower score!
How does the CURV™ putter work compared to a flat putter?
Essentially the same but the error in using the putter is different.
- The flat putter requires absolute squareness when the ball is struck. If this doesn’t happen the ball will deflect as shown below in the illustrations.
- The CURV™ provides you with a larger sweet spot to ensure a smooth rolling release without creating face angle error.
Why is the CURV™ putter more accurate and more repeatable than a flat-faced putter?
We have eliminated the greatest concern there is in putting. Now all you have to do is maintain a consistent stroke line and watch your score go lower and lower.
What does a “push” or “pull” do in putting?
It creates putting errors that cannot be seen. If seen, it is very serious and, in either case, cannot be corrected because the ball is already moving on line you did not intend it to go on.
A flat-faced putter creates face-angle error when the putt is pulled or pushed.

A CURV™ putter with convex face does not create error when the putt is pulled or pushed.

A CURV™ putter, when pushed or pulled, does not impart a face-angle error like a flat-faced putter does. It isn’t flat, it is like another ball. When two balls make contact it is always a single point of contact. A severe miss hit would impart an error considering the putter is a “ball” greater than ten times the diameter of the golf ball.
Do you charge extra for the putter cover?
No. It is included in the retail price.
What length putter is right for me?
The standard length is 35 inches for men and 34 inches for women.
A good way to check your putter is with your eyes over the ball. In your comfortable putting position, the end of the grip should not extend more than one inch beyond the wrist line of your left hand (for a right-handed golfer). A putter that is too long will not allow you to be in control of a good, repeatable stroke.
